FIZ Tax System:
- A profit tax – 0%
- A dividend distribution tax (unlimited, during the year) – 0%
- VAT – 0%
- Tax on the import of raw materials or finished products from a foreign country to FIZ – 0%
- Tax on the import of raw materials or finished products from Georgia to FIZ – 4%
- Tax on the export of raw materials or finished products from FIZ to foreign countries – 0%
- Tax on the export of raw materials or finished products from FIZ to Georgia – 4%
- A property tax – 0%
- A wage tax – 20%
What types of activities can be implemented in the FIZ:
Import and export, international trade; based on the strategic location, Georgia is an ideal place for establishing a logistics centre – a hub for consolidation of regional cargoes or carrying out international transit operations
Production/processing; Products manufactured in the FIZ, in case of meeting specific demands, receive a preferential certificate of origin “MADE IN GEORGIA”, meaning that these products will be imported without duties to other member countries that have entered into a free trade agreement with Georgia. This will provide a business operator with extra competitive privileges, in addition to the tax benefits existing in the FIZ
Services; Tax benefits in the FIZ also attract companies operating in the service sector, especially companies involved in the information technology and advisory services
